About the Psychologist:
I’ve worked in DVUSD for over 15 years—nine as a first-grade teacher at Highland Lakes and the past six as a school psychologist at campuses like Sonoran Foothills, Stetson Hills, Arrowhead, and various other schools in the district. I’m also a proud mom of three grown boys, all DVUSD graduates who earned scholarships to ASU and are now working as computer engineers (I swear I didn’t plan for them to all choose the same path!). I’m originally from New Orleans, so I still say “y’all” and make a decent gumbo. These days, I’m what they call an “empty nester”—though I live with my two dogs, Roux and Charlie, so the house isn’t too quiet. This year marks a big shift for me as I move from K-8 to high school, but I’m very excited to be here. My door is always open!
