About the Teacher:
Hello! My name is Alexandra Quinlan, and I am proud to be part of our school community. I have worked in Special Education for the past five years, and I have a passion for helping students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals. I believe every student is capable of growth and success when provided with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities.
As both an educator and a parent of four children, I understand the importance of strong communication and collaboration between school and home. Two of my children currently attend Boulder Creek High School, which gives me the unique opportunity to experience our school community from both a teacher's and a parent's perspective.
In my classroom, I strive to create a welcoming, structured, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking for help, and developing greater independence. My goal is not only to help students grow academically, but also to build the communication, self-advocacy, life, and career skills they will need beyond high school. I truly enjoy celebrating each student's progress and working alongside families to help students reach their fullest potential.
