Physical Education
Welcome to the Health/Physical Education where our goal is to develop disciplined, high character, and health conscious individuals that will learn positive lifelong habits.
Here are the courses we offer:
Systematics & Fitness: These are personal fitness based courses that include activities such as cardiovascular conditioning, weight training, core strength training, plyometric training, and agility/footwork.
Team Sports & Advanced PE: These courses include team activities such as volleyball, badminton, pickleball, and other nontraditional games.
Health: This course incorporates concepts essential to today’s health curriculum. These include personal health (responsibility, decision making, self-esteem), mental health (understanding needs, stress management), physical health (activity and nutrition), drugs (addiction, tobacco, illegal drugs, and alcohol), body systems (male and female reproduction), family and social health (relationships, internet safety, STDs, HIV/AIDS, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and First Aid/CPR).
