About the Teacher:
Welcome to English! I am very excited to be a part of Boulder Creek and to be teaching Dual Enrollment English and Leadership!
I am originally from Michigan. I met my husband while we were attending ASU, and we have two children, a son and a daughter.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Arizona State University, where I also pursued graduate studies in Art History. In addition, I have a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Arts in English, both from Northern Arizona University. I have been teaching since 1999, and although I began my career as a college instructor, I have also taught at the middle and high school levels. I have taught a range of college subjects from Art History, Literature, Film, Public Speaking, Critical Thinking, History and, of course, English!
I look forward to having a wonderful and productive year!
