Professional Learning Community

BCHS is a Professional Learning Community (PLC)!  

Through collaboration, our teachers and staff work to create learning opportunities, assessments, and intervention & support for our Jaguars to support their learning.  Collaborative Teams meet during Friday 90-minute early release time to focus their work on the collaborative questions and Project Momentum Framework (see below).  Through identifying essential course standards/skills, creating common formative assessment, and having rich data conversations, teams are able to identify student learning needs and create supports in class and/or during Flex Time to grow students.
